Emboss & deboss
Dimensional impression into the fibre, with or without ink. Blind deboss is the quietest way to signal quality, and it costs no colour.

Lamination & touch
The surface film. Soft-touch and velvet give a warm, suede-like drag under the fingers; anti-scratch keeps dark print from scuffing in transit.
