Forty years of holding a line to half a millimetre.

Green Pack Creations has spent four decades learning one thing properly: how to make packaging that looks the same on a shelf in London as it did on the sample table in Mumbai, for brands who will never walk onto the factory floor to check.

Whatever the programme

How it started

One press, and a refusal to be approximate.

The business began as a single press in Mumbai, printing folding cartons for local manufacturers. The work was competitive, the margins were thin, and the only thing separating one converter from another was whether the boxes actually fitted.

So that is what we became known for. Not the cheapest, not the fastest, the one whose boxes fitted. Moving into rigid boxes made the habit permanent: rigid is unforgiving, and a half-millimetre error is visible to anyone holding one.

Exporting raised the stakes again. A brand in Europe cannot walk onto the floor to check, so everything had to become provable at a distance. That is why certification, golden samples and documented process sit at the centre of the business rather than at the edge of it.

“We make packaging you can trust without standing next to it.”
The whole proposition, still.

Why brands stay

Four things you can check before you trust us.

Every supplier says the same words. These are the ones that can be verified by someone other than us, which is the only kind of reassurance worth printing.

  • In-house

    Our floor, not a broker's

Print, foil, emboss, die-cut, glue, hand assembly and pack-out happen in buildings we run. Nothing critical is subcontracted, which is why a tolerance holds from the first thousand to the last.

  • Independent

Audited by people who are not us

Sedex SMETA covers labour standards and health and safety. Higg covers environmental performance. FSC® covers the fibre. Certificate numbers and scope statements travel with the quotation.

  • Open door

    Unannounced visits welcome

Come and look, with or without notice. If flying is not practical, we walk you round your own production run on a live video call instead.

  • Documented

    Traceable to the batch

Every pallet carries a code tying it back to its run, its materials and its QC record, so a question five months later is a lookup rather than an investigation.

How the business grew

From one press to three regions.

Eight stages, in the order they happened.

  1. 01

    One press in Mumbai

The business starts as a single-press converter printing folding cartons for local manufacturers, in a market competing on price alone.

  2. 02

    Into rigid boxes

The move into set-up rigid boxes brings the hand-finishing discipline that still defines the luxury work, and the half-millimetre habit that goes with it.

  3. 03

    The first export programme

A gifting programme for a European client becomes the first regular export order. Export documentation becomes an in-house function rather than an agent's job.

  4. 04

    Manufacturing in China

Qingdao opens for high-volume programmes and the component supply chain that sits behind magnets, ribbon and hardware.

  5. 05

    Audited, not asserted

FSC® Chain of Custody, Sedex SMETA and Higg Index reporting formalise what had been informal: traceable fibre, audited labour standards and measured environmental performance.

  6. 06

    The Dubai hub

A regional office and distribution hub brings servicing, samples and call-off stock within a short freight window of Europe, the Gulf and the Americas.

  7. 07

    Plastic-free engineering

A materials team forms specifically to replace foam, film and PET trays with moulded pulp and folded paper that hold the same drop test.

  8. 08

    Four decades in

Twenty-three packaging styles, nineteen sectors and brands on six continents, with the United States and United Kingdom the active focus.

How we operate

Four commitments we do not negotiate.

01

The golden sample is the contract

Whatever you sign becomes the physical reference every run is measured against, at every site, for the life of the programme. Colour arguments become comparisons.

02

Engineer first, decorate second

Structure decides whether a pack survives the journey and whether it can be recycled at the end of it. Finish decides whether it is worth opening. In that order, always.

03

Say no in the first reply

If a volume, a deadline or a specification is wrong for us, you hear it before you have spent a week on samples. A fast no is worth more to a buyer than a slow maybe.

04

One named person

Every programme has a single point of contact who knows your tooling, your history and your deadlines. Not a shared inbox, not a rotating account team.
