It is verification. You are being asked to trust a description of a factory you will probably never visit, and most of the reassurance offered is not verifiable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certifications are worth checking, but check the certificate rather than the logo. Ask for the number, the scope statement and the audit date. A scope that covers a different site or a different product category is common and easy to miss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The golden sample is the single most useful control available to you. Insist on a fully printed, fully finished physical sample, sign it, and make it contractually the reference for every production run. It converts a subjective argument into an objective comparison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ask which specific site will manufacture your programme and why. A supplier who answers with reasoning \u2014 volume, finish, destination port \u2014 is thinking about your economics. A supplier who cannot say is probably brokering the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, test responsiveness before you test quality. Send a technical question and see how long it takes to get a real answer from a named person.
